Isn’t that the truth? A family photo session is the very best way to hold on to them. I love to help my families style their shoot. I even have a customized style guide with helpful tips and example photos for you to use. Of course the majority of my clients like to have their sessions done in the fall to capture the foliage splendor and also make use of the images for holiday gift and cards, so if this is your choice, please contact me during the summer to book a fall weekend date. Living in Western Pa. all of our seasons lend themselves to beautiful outdoor backdrops, so don’t be afraid to try winter or spring as well.
A great way to save the images from a family session is a photo book along with a large canvas wall hanging or framed print. I also specialize in collage groupings done custom for your home. I have samples to show you of the final product. When a child sees his photo everyday displayed proudly on his family’s wall it gives them an immeasurable sense of self worth and union with their family. I prefer to provide finished photographic art and not digital media. A photograph will last at least 100 years, a CD can start to deteriorate after 5-7 years and hard drives can crash.
I also do newborn, baby milestones, maternity and hospital birth or newborn sessions. Gender reveal sessions are a fun new event to photograph as well as cake smash sessions at any age. I have also photographed Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and adoption ceremonies.
